Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a Seasonal Packaging Operator to join our team. You will work closely with location Supervisors and Management to ensure seed packages are labeled correctly, reflect customer instructions, and are stored and shipped as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient handling of packaging materials. Responsibilities include operating equipment, labeling, lifting up to 68 lbs, climbing stairs or ladders, cleaning packaging gear, and assisting with site cleanups.

• Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages as applicable
• Lifting and stacking materials up to 68 Ibs. for extended periods of time
• Safely climb stairs and/or ladders
• Through cleaning of all packaging equipment to maintain product integrity
• Operating fork truck to dump packaged material for true bulk loads.
• Open box slide gate or untie MB bag to dump true bulk loads.
• Assist with clean-ups in all areas.
• Standing to fill and close packaged product for extended periods of time
• Suces l as production line and receive varchouse a crite
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
• Prepare and clean (if needed) packaging materials to be used according to customer specifications. This would include boxes, bulk bags, and paper bags.

Seasonal Packaging Operator:

Seasonal Packaging Operator's work closely with location Supervisors and Management to ensure seed packages are properly and legibly labeled, are accurate according to customer instructions, and are accurately stored and shipped as needed. Essential job functions may include:

• Performing all work activities safely
• Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages as applicable
• Lifting and stacking materials up to 68 Ibs. for extended periods of time
• Safely climb stairs and/or ladders
• Through cleaning of all packaging equipment to maintain product integrity

Prepare and clean (if needed) packaging materials to be used according to customer specifications. This would include boxes, bulk bags, and paper bags.

• Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
• Meals: Employer does not provide meals. Employer-provided housing includes free and convenient kitchen facilities with appropriate equipment, appliances, cooking accessories, and dish washing facilities for meal preparation. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, employer also provides free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services). Dining, kitchen/cooking facilities and other common areas are shared by all workers.
• Transport: Employer provided transportation will be airplane, charter bus, employer operated vehicle, or other common means depending on the workers' country or State of origin. All common means of transportation will meet applicable safety standards and will abide by 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1) & (2). Continued
