Job summary

H2ajobs in the Hudson, NY area is seeking workers for a fruit packing house position. You will cull, size, and sort fruit on the packing line, pack bags and boxes, and construct boxes. You will lift, move, and palletize fruit boxes and perform cleanup tasks.

Employer-provided housing and shared kitchen facilities are available. Meals are not provided. Employer provides free weekly transportation to the nearest town for errands; dining and common areas are shared among workers.

Job description

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer does not provide meals. Employer-provided housing includes free and convenient kitchen facilities with appropriate equipment, appliances, cooking accessories, and dish-washing facilities for meal preparation. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, employer also provides free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services). Dining, kitchen/cooking facilities and other common areas are shared by all workers.

Transport: Employer provided transportation will be airplane, charter bus, employer operated vehicle, or other common means depending on the workers' country or State of origin. All common means of transportation will meet applicable safety standards and will abide by 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1) & (2). Continued
