The Egg Handler is responsible for transferring eggs to trays, loading and transferring eggs to cooler, walking birds several times a day, replacing eggs out of nests, and removing mortality.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Transfer eggs into trays and onto egg buggies.
• Walk houses to remove mortality and egg jams.
• Clean and disinfect the egg room weekly.
• Assign work and meet schedules within the work group in the absence of supervisor or lead.
• Push full egg buggies into egg coolers.
• Follow egg handling and culling procedures.
