Job description

The Farm and Forest Viability Program Coordinator channels funding and support to farm, food, and forest businesses that sustain Vermont’s communities and landscapes. You’ll manage grants and contracts from application through final report, reconcile budgets and payments, and keep project files organized. You’ll gather participant feedback, help evaluate program impact, draft grant proposals, and make systems friendlier for the people who use them. You’ll also connect with statewide networks like Farm to Plate, visit businesses in the field, and help weave equity into every stage of grant-making. This role requires grant management experience, excellent writing, and strong attention to detail. Experience with working lands enterprises, data analysis, or CRM tools preferred.
