Job summary

Fondomonte California is seeking Skilled Farm Operators to support our farming operation in Blythe, CA. The role involves growing, harvesting, and preparing forage products for export, with emphasis on safety and equipment care.

You will operate rakes, balers, tractors (90–190 hp), forklifts, and trucks, perform pre-operation inspections, monitor equipment, and assist with irrigation and concrete work. A team-oriented, safety-focused approach is required.

Qualifications

• Operate farm equipment including rakes, balers and tractors in 90–190 hp range.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and prepare equipment for safe startup.
• Monitor equipment and address safety or production issues.
• Assist with irrigation system operation, maintenance and repair.
• Perform concrete work and related field repairs.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean; handle fuel and supplies.
• Support team and other operators as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and workplace requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate farm equipment and tractors in appropriate horsepower ranges.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and prepare equipment for use.
• Monitor equipment during operation; report safety/production issues.
• Assist irrigation system operation, maintenance and repair tasks.
