Job summary

Fondomonte California is seeking skilled Farm Operators to support our Blythe farming operations. You will operate a range of farm equipment, including tractors, rakes, balers, forklifts, and trucks, and will perform inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe, productive work.

Exposure to irrigation systems and concrete work is needed. We value attention to detail, a professional attitude, and flexibility to work weekends when required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Three months of agricultural forage experience.
• Experience operating farm machinery safely and accurately.
• Experience with irrigation systems and concrete work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Positive, professional approach to coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate farm equipment (rakes, balers, tractors 90–190 hp, forklifts and trucks) as assigned.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and prepare equipment for safe startup.
• Monitor equipment during operation and report safety/production issues.
• Assist with irrigation system operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Perform concrete work and related field or facility repairs.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas, including fueling and handling supplies.
• Help maintain clean fields and perform assigned manual work.
• Collaborate with other operators and assist the team.
• Follow safety procedures and workplace requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
