Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Hawaii Research Center to perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on vehicles, farm implements, UTVs, trailers, tractors, gensets, sprayers, forklifts, and small engines.

The role requires the ability to diagnose equipment failures and work both in shop and in the field, with a focus on safety and timely action. The candidate should have a 2-year technical degree and 3+ years of related experience, along with strong English

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree and 3 or more years of related experience or equivalent amounts of related education and experience required.
• Experience in the repair and operation of farm and heavy equipment is desired.
• Competencies: Understanding of heavy equipment operation; mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and ability to troubleshoot and repair these systems.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) in English and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and farm equipment, including troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Locate, diagnose, and repair equipment failures and malfunctions; implement timely corrective actions.
• Work in shop and on-field settings; collaborate with team at multiple Corteva sites in Kauai.
• Follow safety programs and company policies; ensure OSHA compliance and safe operation of equipment.
