Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota subsidiary, is seeking an experienced Design Engineer I to join our R&D team in Assaria, KS. This on-site role requires designing agricultural implements and managing design projects from concept through production.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 0–3 years' experience, proficiency in Creo or SolidWorks, PLM tools, and FEA. Travel may be required during development and testing phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 0–3 years experience.
• Proficiency with Creo/SolidWorks and PLM tools (Windchill).
• Experience with FEA software and MS Office.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Design new large agricultural implements and OEM products from concept to production.
• Manage design projects through prototyping, testing and DFMA.
• Support manufacturing to ensure correct fabrication, welding and assembly.
