Job summary

Sinclair Tractor in Southeast Iowa is seeking an accounting professional to handle clerical accounting duties for whole goods, invoicing, reconciliations, and postings. You will support the general ledger, AR, AP, and inventory within the Equip system.

The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong teamwork. An associate’s degree in accounting/finance is preferred, with 2+ years in Accounting/Finance and a valid driver’s license being desirable. Office setting with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Understands debits, credits, AR, AP, and budgets.
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet functions.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Associate’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• 2+ years accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enters data into accounting systems including the general ledger, AR, AP, and inventory.
• Completes month-end tasks and reconciliations.
• Invoicing equipment sales and rentals in Equip.
• Invoices agreement and subscription sales in Equip.
• Verifies information and corrects transactions with originators.
• Reconciles Sales Center accounts and communicates errors.
• Processes ATV and trailer title applications and lien searches.
• Posts whole goods invoices to Equip and analyzes documents for accuracy.
• Communicates with coworkers to resolve accounting questions.
• Assists other team members with related tasks as needed.
