Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a Supervisory Farm Clean-Out Lead to guide crews in removing depleted farms and overseeing sanitation across equipment and facilities. You will manage daily tasks, ensure chemicals are used properly, and coordinate machinery setup and teardown at shift changes.

The role requires working nights, weekends, and holidays with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Poultry experience is a plus, and readiness to support other teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a health-card physical.
• Ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated with strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
• Poultry industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive crews to farms to start job clean-up and oversee daily tasks.
• Operate and supervise machinery setup/teardown at shift start/end.
• Ensure proper sanitation chemicals are used on machinery and areas.
• Delegate tasks to crews and manage time to complete work correctly.
• File reports to managers to pull farm clean-out depletion data.
• Inventory vehicles, machinery, and chemicals; support other departments as needed.

Job Description Summary: We are looking for a Supervisory person to lead as the Farm Clean-Out Lead. This position will be responsible to lead and monitor the cleaning of depleted farms, ensure proper chemicals are used for sanitation, work with heavy machinery, and overall daily responsibilities for crew members.

Job Description

• Drive crews of employees to farms to start job clean up
• Drive machinery which certifications will be administered
• Responsible for time management of crew and job to ensure work is done correctly
• Ensure use of chemicals to clean and sanitized all machinery and areas assigned
• Put together/Tear down machinery at beginning/end of cleanup shift
• Help setup before production starts (lower nest boxes, feeders, drinker lines, etc.)
• Responsible for task delegation for crews
• File reports for managers to pull farm clean out depletion data
• Inventory vehicles, machinery, and chemical
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management
• Must be able to work in other departments as needed
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
