Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a Supervisory Farm Clean-Out Lead to direct daily cleanup operations on our poultry farms. You will supervise crews, manage time and logistics, and ensure proper sanitation chemicals and equipment are used and maintained.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to coordinate multiple crews, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends on farm sites. Training and safety awareness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of machinery teardown and setup.
• Basic chemical understanding a strong plus.
• Monitoring clean up (parts) experience.
• 2 years of clean out crew experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive crews of employees to farms to start job clean up.
• Drive machinery which certifications will be administered.
• Responsible for time management of crew and job to ensure work is done correctly.
• Ensure use of chemicals to clean and sanitized all machinery and areas assigned.
• Put together/Tear down machinery at beginning/end of cleanup shift.
• Help setup before production starts (lower nest boxes, feeders, drinker lines, etc.).
• Responsible for task delegation for crews.
• File reports for managers to pull farm clean out depletion data.
• Inventory vehicles, machinery, and chemical.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Must be able to work in other departments as needed.
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers.
