Job summary

AgCountry Farm Credit Services, based in Fargo, North Dakota, seeks a Farm Accounting Officer to join our team. You will provide timely, accurate accounting services for farming operations, handle cash and accrual statements, and deliver high-quality customer service to a portfolio of farm entities.

As you grow, you will educate customers and teammates on reporting, act as the primary contact for accounting-related service, and participate in industry events to share expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related field required.
• 0–2 years of accounting and tax experience stated.
• Ability to provide financial and business consulting to customers and support portfolio accounting.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate accounting services for farming operations and owners of farmland.
• Act as the primary contact for accounting-related service for customers.
• Educate customers and teammates on timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage own time to complete customer work by deadlines.
• Remain current on accounting rules and industry practices.
