Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking an FAO Manager to lead outsourced accounting and financial reporting for a diverse client portfolio. You will guide accounting operations, provide process improvements, and coach accounting professionals including offshore staff.

You’ll oversee onboarding, system implementations, and review of statements and reconciliations, leveraging NetSuite to optimize client operations and reporting. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with management experience in public accounting.
• Experience delivering outsourced accounting and controllership services to multiple clients.
• Strong NetSuite experience, including financial reporting and operations.
• Experience with ERP implementations and accounting technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience leading remote and offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting and financial reporting services for a portfolio of client engagements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on accounting operations, reporting, and business process improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals, including offshore team members.
• Oversee client onboarding activities, including system implementations and process transitions.
• Review financial statements, management reporting packages, reconciliations, and other client deliverables.
• Leverage NetSuite to support client accounting operations, reporting, and process optimization initiatives.
• Monitor engagement performance, resource utilization, and client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies through process enhancements and technology solutions.
• Manage multiple client priorities while ensuring exceptional service and quality delivery.
