You will program PLCs, HMIs, cobots, and vision systems, translate drawings into implementation plans, and provide advanced applications support while integrating new robotics technology into existing systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (ME, EE, or CS).
  • Direct programming experience with major industrial robotics brands (Kawasaki, Epson, Omron, Kuka, Fanuc).
  • HMI/SCADA development experience is required.
  • Industrial vision systems setup and programming knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and partners to understand automation needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Apply robotics and automation principles to factories and warehouses across industries.

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Fanuc Robotics Engineer-Automation (PLC/ HMI) with our partner based in DFW area, Texas, USA to drive the implementation and support of cutting-edge robotic and automation solutions for our global customers. This role requires a blend of technical development expertise, direct customer engagement, and a willingness to travel internationally to solve complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal and external customers and partners to understand their unique automation needs and develop tailored solutions utilizing robotics and other automation products.
  • Apply robotics and automation principles to factories and warehouses across various industries.
  • Develop Automation proof-of-concepts (POC), Application solutions for Robotics, automation, and machine vision applications.
Programming & Technical Application
  • Program and configure automated systems, including:
  • PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces)
  • Cobots (Collaborative Robots)
  • Vision Systems
  • Support the optimization of key application elements, including machine vision performance, robot motion profiles, application layout/allocation, and program structure.
  • Work with team members to integrate new automation and robotics technology into existing and future systems.
  • Translate engineering drawings, Electrical Circuit Diagrams, and instructions into clear guidance for customers and implementation teams.
  • Possess the ability to understand and implement Electrical Circuits.
Global Support & Training
  • Provide advanced applications support to customers to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Support in creating training demonstrations, training materials, and conduct technical training for both internal staff and external customers/partners.

  • Represent Our company in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.
Essential Skills and Requirements
Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering - ME, Electrical Engineering - EE, or Computer Science - CS).
  • Direct programming experience with one or more major industrial brands for:
  • Robotics: Kawasaki, Epson, Omron, Kuka, Fanuc, or other major cobot brands.
  • HMI and SCADA development.
  • Industrial Vision Systems setup and programming.
  • Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings and Electrical Circuit Diagrams.
  • Ability to understand and implement Electrical Circuits.
Communication & Analysis
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret periodicals, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Ability to write reports and moderately complex correspondence regarding technical topics.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to sit, stand, walk, crouch, and bend for up to eight hours a day.

  • Travel: Expected to travel (10%-20%) of the time to support applications.
