Job summary
GableTek in Marshall, Michigan is seeking up to three experienced FANUC Robot Programmers for an upcoming automation project. Start in mid-July 2026 with an initial four-week duration and potential extension.
The role involves programming, troubleshooting, and supporting FANUC robots in manufacturing environments. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with programming, troubleshooting, and supporting FANUC robotic systems, as well as collaboration with controls engineers and production
Qualifications
- Proven experience programming FANUC robots in an industrial environment.
- Experience with robot troubleshooting and production support.
- Ability to perform robot touch-ups and process adjustments.
- Experience with robotic cell commissioning and startup activities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and process documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Program, modify, and optimize FANUC robot applications.
- Troubleshoot robot, process, and production issues.
- Perform robot touch-ups, recoveries, and path modifications.
- Support system commissioning, startup, and production launch activities.
- Work closely with controls engineers, electricians, and manufacturing teams.
- Verify robot functionality, cycle times, and process quality.
- Document programming changes and project updates.
- Follow all customer and site safety requirements.
