Job summary

The BorgWarner Arden campus in the mountains of Western North Carolina designs and produces turbo, fan and fan drive components for the automotive industry. This position will be responsible for producing quality parts throughout the entire process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Experience with gaging.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Completing tooling set-ups, hand deburring parts.
• Cutting blades to diameter using auto saw.
• Ensuring accurate packaging and labelling.
• Completion of paperwork and/or product data entry into PC.
• Makes quality checks using gauges.
• Responsible for individual scrap.

Job purpose

The BorgWarner Arden campus offers two world class technical centers and a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that designs and produces turbos, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

This position will be responsible for producing quality parts throughout the entire process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform other duties as needed
