A Blessing of Hope Family Services in Colorado is seeking a part-time Family Service Specialist to supervise visits, coordinate transportation, and support families toward reunification. You will work in homes, communities, evenings, and some weekends, documenting progress and partnering with the DHHS and caseworkers.

Ideal candidates are reliable, with strong communication and writing skills, a valid driver’s license, and experience with children or crisis situations.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and licensing to transport children.
• Clear and accurate documentation of visits and progress.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families and DHHS.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with families in challenging cases.
• Experience in child welfare, crisis intervention, or related field is valued.

Responsabilités

• Supervise visits between children and families in home or community settings.
• Provide parenting support, goal setting, and redirection during visits.
• Document progress and report concerns to the caseworker; testify in court as needed.
• Arrange and provide safe transportation to and from visits; assist families in accessing resources.
