Job summary

Community Care ME is hiring a Visit Support Worker (part-time with potential full-time) to supervise visits between children and their families in our welcoming centers or community settings. Training and supervision are provided to help you succeed, with shifts often 2pm–7pm, Mon–Fri.

Reliable transportation and a valid Maine driver's license are required. The role emphasizes safety, family support, and helping families work toward reunification.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 6 months experience working with children and families

Responsibilities

• Supervise visits in Family Visitation Centers, homes, or community settings to support reunification goals.
• Provide structure, guidance, and safety during visits.
• Arrange and assist with transportation for youth to and from visits as needed.
• Assist with lifting children, securing car seats, and handling infants when required.
