Job summary

The City of Hampton seeks a Family Support Worker to deliver individualized parent education and support through the Healthy Families America home visitation model.

You will conduct home and virtual visits, build trust with culturally diverse families, maintain CASIE records, and connect families with healthcare and social services. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with early childhood populations and families.
• Knowledge of infant and child development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized parent education and support using the Healthy Families America model.
• Conduct home and virtual visits; build trust with diverse families.
• Maintain detailed CASIE records and coordinate access to healthcare and social services.
• Participate in trainings and supervision; assist with transportation and referrals as needed.
