Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s may substitute for one year experience.
• Experience not required beyond education; substitution clauses allow advanced degrees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct parent visit assessments/surveys within 30 days of hospital/clinic review to determine eligibility for HANDS services.
• Educate families in coping techniques and connect them with education and nutrition resources.
• Maintain logs, prepare reports, and analyze data per HANDS guidelines.
• Interpret laws/policies and provide guidance to staff; monitor program compliance; may conduct ongoing home visits as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor’s degree in a Social or Behavioral Science related field
