Meeting Street is currently seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Family Support Worker for Healthy Families America, working 40 hours weekly.

Duties

• Work directly with Spanish-speaking and English-speaking families with young children to provide family-centered, strength-based interventions aimed at establishing trusting relationships within the family to optimize parent/child relationships.
• Provide curriculum-based prenatal health and early childhood health and development education to promote the child's well-being and safety.
• Assess additional needs or crisis situations and refer families to community resources to support their overall health, safety, and well-being.
• Maintain a caseload of families by coordinating meetings in various formats, including phone, virtual video chat, or in-person, to meet families where they are.
• Document family functioning thoroughly and objectively, and report data within program deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Services, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
• Experience working with or providing services to children and families.
• Experience supporting high-risk populations with social/emotional needs, such as trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence, or mental health concerns.
• Valid driver's license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.
