FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER
Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties is currently accepting applications for a
full-time Family Support Worker. This position assists local families to nurture positive
relationships with their children by providing education on child development and
parenting, by assisting families to set goals, and providing guidance to achieve those
goals.
An Associate’s degree in a human services field is preferred but not required. The
Family Support Worker must possess good oral and written communication skills,
and the ability to work independently. Experience working with children aged 0-3 and
knowledge of child development preferred.
The Family Support Worker provides services in both Delta and Menominee
Counties. A valid driver’s license and travel are required. Department vehicles are
available for use.
This position includes health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, paid holidays,
and a defined benefit pension plan.
