Job summary

Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is seeking a Family Support Worker to deliver family support services and training for clients and resource families within a protective services unit.

You will coordinate Family Team Meetings and work with clients in abuse/neglect cases to address skill and resource development needs, including evenings and weekends and occasional overnight travel for training or transportation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or four years of experience in child or youth care or related fields.
• Ability to complete required certifications within one year.
• Experience with Native American communities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide family support services and training for clients and resource families.
• Coordinate Family Team Meetings and support youth and families in protective services.
• Conduct trainings and maintain client referrals and supporting documents.
