Auberle in Duquesne, PA is seeking a Family Support Staff member to help residents achieve housing stability. This full-time role involves engaging individuals and families, gathering documents, and connecting them with resources to meet urgent needs.

The position requires clearances (Act 33/34 and FBI), a high school diploma or GED, and a valid PA driver’s license with access to a vehicle. Shifts may include weekends and evenings; training at Main Campus is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals and families to support them in achieving their housing goals and addressing their housing needs.
• Working with individuals and families as they enter and stay at the shelter to gather vital documents.
• Identify participants urgent needs such as food, clothing, healthcare, education, and benefits and connect to resources.
• Support participants in finding housing opportunities and completing applications.
• Connect to additional resources such as employment, transportation, childcare.
• Complete household budgets and verify income and expenses.
• Conduct room inspections and ensure compliance with the participant program agreement for all rules and regulations.
