SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead management activities and outreach staff.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Family Support Specialist III provides comprehensive family support, referrals, and community coordination to promote economic self-sufficiency and enhance residents' quality of life. They lead the team in developing strategies to ensure family stability and success.

JOB RESPONSIBLTIES:

  • Lead family support meetings to review complex issues and ensure residents receive necessary services.
  • Coordinate with On-site Project Manager and service providers based on resident progress.
  • Monitor data quality and completeness in LEARN.
  • Prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and develop strategies with the Senior Project Manager and management team.
  • Conduct intake, assessments, and visits for residents.
  • Assist residents in accessing community resources.
  • Advocate for residents and coordinate service delivery.
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of resident information.
  • Enter and track resident data in LEARN.
  • Maintain effective partnerships internally and externally.
  • Participate in program meetings and other related meetings.
  • Perform assigned job duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5 years of nonprofit or human services experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car for work.
  • Ability to handle privileged information confidentially.
  • Strong independent and teamwork skills.
  • Availability for evening/weekend events and travel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient in facilitating group processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Data analysis for resident-driven program designs.
  • Respect for confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
