Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. is hiring a Family Support Specialist to ensure delivery of high-quality Agency With Choice services and strict licensing compliance for adults with intellectual and behavioral disabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver''s license and insurability under company policy.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual/behavioral disabilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing communication, support and training for families and staff.
• Work with Service Coordinators.
• Assist with tracking, maintaining, and collecting all AWC documents.
• Monitor individuals'' budgets, services, service hours/units, and utilization to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain current knowledge of licensing guidelines and legislation in the ID field.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.

Skills

Strong communication skills

CPR/First Aid certified
