Cornerstones of Care is hiring a Family Support Specialist to work with Foster Care Case Managers, providing support to parents and families to strengthen relationships and reunify families. This role involves short and long-term interventions, including individual and group family support and supervised visitation.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of experience with children and families, a high school diploma or equivalent, and must meet background check and driving requirements.

Qualificações

• 2 years of experience working with children and families.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of child development practice.
• 21 years of age or older and able to pass background check, physical, and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Provide supervision and support during family time, appointments, transitions, and emergencies.
• Supervise family time in an office, home, or community setting.
• Support parents during supervised family time by modeling safe, nurturing interactions.
• Provide coaching to parents and children during interactions to build on skills and promote growth opportunities.
• Staff children in hospitals or placements when supervision is required.
• Work with the family on case plan goals and court orders.
