Job summary

A non-profit organization supporting families with unique needs is seeking a Support Resource Specialist. You will provide individualized support to parents and caregivers, organize activities and support groups, and develop training materials. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills, experience with diverse family systems, and a commitment to helping families navigate unique challenges. This is a part-time position based in California.

Qualifications

• Prefer a parent or close family member of a child/individual with unique challenges.
• Experience working with diverse perspectives and parents.
• Strong understanding of family systems and child development.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and information to parents of children with unique needs.
• Organize and lead support groups for families.
• Develop training and support material focused on parent perspectives.
• Collect and summarize data and report required information.
