Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Columbia, MO is seeking a Family Support Provider to assist families of children with mental illness. You will coach caregivers, connect them with resources, and help develop wellness plans alongside Community Support Specialists.

This full-time role emphasizes empathy, crisis support, and wraparound services. A $250 sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • State-required Family Support Provider credential.
  • Background checks including criminal, driving, abuse/neglect, and fingerprints.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and coach families to increase knowledge of child needs and connect with team members.
  • Provide resources (videos, books, articles) and moral support during crises.
  • Develop individualized service plans wrapping services around family needs.
  • Document services and assist with intake processes.
