You will coach families, coordinate services, and help secure resources in home and community settings. The role emphasizes lived experience as a caregiver, collaboration with caregivers, school teams, and care coordinators, and adherence to program standards and HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CFSS preferred or eligible for certification.
• Lived experience as a family member or caregiver of a child with a mental health diagnosis.
• Experience navigating child-serving systems (education, juvenile justice, behavioral health, etc.).
• Experience in non-profit or child-serving systems preferred.
• Ability to use electronic databases and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support, coaching, and system navigation to families of children with mental health or behavioral needs.
• Assist families in developing attainable goals and coordinating services (CFT meetings, documentation).
• Deliver face-to-face services in home or community settings; collect assessments and feedback.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain thorough documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with care coordinators, therapists, and school personnel; participate in trainings.
