Job summary

Easter Seals North Georgia is seeking a Family Support Advocate in Atlanta, GA to assist families in identifying and attaining goals through the Family Partnership Agreement and related services. Under the Center Manager, you’ll help ensure families access needed services and support center operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, strong case management and communication skills, and willingness to travel between centers and occasionally work weekends or evenings.

Under the direction of the Center Manager, assists families to identify and attain goals via the Family Partnership Agreement. In addition to ensuring that families have access to needed services, the Family Support Advocate and Center Manager will work cooperatively to ensure the effective operation of the center.

Qualifications

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Family Support Advocate

Bilingual Preferred but not required.

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must pass the Drug Test.
• Must pass the Background Check.
• Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines is required: Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Psychology or Sociology.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Physical Job Requirements
