Job summary

Easter Seals North Georgia Inc is seeking a Family Support Advocate in Roswell, GA (Full Time). The role assists families to identify and attain goals via the Family Partnership Agreement and supports access to needed services.

Under the Center Manager, you will help ensure center operations run smoothly and families receive necessary supports. Some travel to centers and home visits are required, with weekend/evening work as needed.

Under the direction of the Center Manager, assists families to identify and attain goals via the Family Partnership Agreement. In addition to ensuring that families have access to needed services, the Family Support Advocate and Center Manager will work cooperatively to ensure the effective operation of the center.

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Family Support Advocate

Bilingual Preferred but not required.

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must pass the Drug Test.
• Must pass the Background Check.
• Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines is required: Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Psychology or Sociology.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
