Job summary

18 Degrees is seeking a Family Support Worker in West Springfield, MA. This full-time role involves home visits for families referred by the Department of Children and Families, and facilitating Family Time Supervised Visitation.

The ideal candidate will build trusting relationships, coordinate services, maintain progress documentation, and ensure strong organizational and writing skills. Reliable transportation and availability for occasional evenings or Saturdays are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Available to work occasional evenings or Saturdays.
• EOHHS CORI, National SORI, Driving Record Authorization and DCF Background Check.
• Strong engagement with at-risk children and families using strength-based approaches.
• Dependable transportation and solid writing/computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide home visits for families referred by the Department of Children and Families.
• Facilitate Family Time Supervised Visitation as referred by DCF and courts.
• Coordinate needed services, provide warm referrals, and advocate for families.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records of visits and outcomes.
