Job summary

Utah Community Action in Salt Lake City is seeking a Family Services Worker to empower families through timely, confidential case management, connecting them with health and developmental resources and supporting children’s growth.

The role involves parent engagement, enrollment support, community outreach, and collaboration with teaching teams to ensure safe classrooms and effective service delivery. Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience required; Wendover site option described.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social, human, or family services.
• Two years of related experience.
• Wendover Site Only: In place of a bachelor's degree, a newly hired employee will have up to 18 months from the date of hire to obtain a Family Development Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support families from diverse backgrounds through timely, accurate, and confidential case management.
• Maintain complete records, coordinate health and developmental follow-up, and connect families with community resources.
• Collaborate with teaching teams to support classroom safety and service delivery.
• Engage parents in activities, assist with enrollment, and conduct community outreach and recruitment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and perform other assigned duties.
