Qualifications

• One year or more of applicable experience in social services or public assistance.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.

• Assist clients with completing required applications, declarations, forms, and reviewing information for accuracy.
• Interview clients to explain conditions and elicit information.
• Interview clients to assess vocational potential and available employment options.
• Research, verify, and evaluate information to establish eligibility.
• Compute income and other factors impacting benefits.
• Identify existing job skills, work experience, and employment barriers.
• Explain program objectives, requirements, and services to clients and respond to questions.
• Develop a personal responsibility plan and an individualized job training plan.
• Coordinate services through community providers and agency personnel.
