The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is seeking a Family Support Specialist to manage recruitment and enrollment for early learning programs on-site in Chicago. You will deliver comprehensive case management to support health, nutrition, and family services, while linking families to needed resources and ensuring compliance with funders’ requirements.

You will conduct home visits, coordinate parent education, and collaborate with team members to strengthen parent engagement and child development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or Human Services.
• Minimum 12 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education and a Gateway Level 5 credential.
• Prior experience in casework, community organizations, and working with diverse families.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement recruitment plans to meet maximum enrolment.
• Maintain waiting lists and complete required enrollment forms.
• Conduct home visits and parent engagement activities.
• Provide referrals and supportive services to meet identified needs.
• Collaborate on parent meetings and community partnerships.
• Maintain program records per YMCA and funder requirements.
