This candidate will provide administrative, clerical and direct service support to internal staff as well as children and families involved with Child Welfare. FSAs assist with scheduling and supervising of family time visitation, provide transportation to children and families, supervise children, conduct safety home visits, monthly visits and well-child visits, notetaking and Family Partnership scribe duties, provide notary services for families as well as other duties as needed to provide support to staff and the families served.Duties:Engage clients in the community in a variety of settings to include family homes, schools, and hospitals.Document client contacts and interaction in a variety of digital case management applicationsConsult with supervisory team members, and city attorneys regarding the safety, wellbeing, and permanency of children.Assess child safety and risk utilizing a variety of structured decision-making tools, interviews, and observations.Family time/visitation supervision, observation, coaching, and support.Well child direct face-to-face contactHome safety/environment checksTransportation to and from medical appointments, court appearances, scheduledappointments, visitations, etc. for child welfare clients.School transportsSupervision of minor children during case planning meetings, court appearances, therapy appointments.Shopping for foster children in non-foster home settingsFood Basket deliveriesWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pmThe City offers a generous benefits package such as health, dental and life insurance, retirement, and savings plans.
