Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or 2 years of child welfare experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Depenable automobile and valid driver's license required.
• Must pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support families to prevent the permanent placement of children out of their home.
• Provide transportation for parent/children to supervised visits; travel may be extensive.
• Teach homemaking, parenting, and anger management skills at home.
• Supervised and unsupervised visitation; observe and redirect as needed.
• Prepare and submit monthly written client progress reports.
• Report all child abuse and neglect; attend mandated trainings.
• Help housing program families locate housing, jobs, and supports.
