Job summary

PACE Community Action Agency seeks a Family Specialist to provide case management for families within the Child Services Section, coordinating parent involvement, recruitment, and enrollment activities.

You will advocate for early childhood education, establish partnerships with families, monitor health and program data, travel to sites, and ensure compliance with Head Start standards while supporting diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field or Family Development Credential within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking; Spanish speaking ability a plus.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence; effectively present information.
• Team player with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office and general computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for early childhood education and serve as liaison for families and program within the community.
• Establish mutually respectful partnerships with families to enhance quality of life.
• Support families’ efforts to reach their goals.
• Work with management to meet Head Start Performance Standards for children and families.
