Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs seeks a Reunification Support Coach in Philadelphia, PA to guide parents through reunification, enrolling a caseload and coordinating with ARC and CUA teams. The role combines virtual and in-person meetings to build goal plans and promote family stability.

You will develop relationships, document progress, and advocate for families while collaborating with service providers to overcome barriers and support successful reunification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in social work, human services or related field required; equivalent combo allowed.
• Minimum of three years of case management or similar experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized with ability to manage time and deadlines.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Experience in motivational interviewing preferred.
• Knowledge of the child welfare system preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including typing, writing and presentation.
• Ability to travel to alternative worksite locations (CUA, Family Court, community location).

Responsabilités

• Facilitate parent engagement through email, text and telephone to engage parent/caregiver in ARC.
• Use motivational interviewing as a counseling technique to encourage behavior change.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents enrolled in ARC through regular meetings for goal setting and monitoring.
• Document participation level and progress for reporting to the ARC team.
• Coordinate visits to Community Umbrella Agencies and participate in case conferences.
• Engage and recruit ARC services at Court and community events.
