Job summary

Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. seeks a Child First Family Resource Partner to serve in Watagua County and surrounding areas.

You will provide community resource expertise, connect families with services, and work with the Child First team to develop plans of care. The role includes engaging families, supporting assessments, and promoting stabilization through collaborative efforts with Therapists and Coordinators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field or closely related area.
• Meets requirements under 10A NCAC 27G.0104 as a Qualified Professional for Mental Health.
• Experience working psychotherapeutically with culturally diverse children and families (0-5) is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide community resource expertise to Child First team and families and connect with service providers.
• Engage with families and Therapist in collaborative family assessments and plan of care.
• Promote family stabilization by identifying needs and addressing barriers to services.
• Maintain documentation, track assessments, and enter data into the database.
• Participate in reflective supervision and Child First Learning Collaborative.

Education

Experience with 0-5 age groups (psychotherapeutic)
