Qualifications

• Experience with families of adults with serious mental illness.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practices.
• Ability to engage diverse families and adapt to settings (home, community, virtual).

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing consultation to families of adults (18+) with serious mental illness to promote stability and quality of life.
• Support families in coping strategies, stress reduction, problem-solving, and effective communication.
• Address relationship dynamics and social environment challenges across the life cycle.
• Facilitate family support groups and psychoeducation on major mental illness and treatments.
• Design and deliver psychoeducational workshops and presentations on evidence-based practices.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
• Assist families in accessing community resources and adapt services to family preferences.
• Maintain timely documentation and participate in supervision and required meetings.
