Job summary

Victor Community Support Services seeks a Family Support Counselor to assist youth and families through life’s challenges. You will provide individual and family support, referrals, advocacy, and case management within designated programs. The role emphasizes empathetic engagement, boundary setting, and teamwork.

The position offers training, mentorship, and a team-driven environment with administration duties and documentation to support client progress.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and be willing to complete related requirements.
• 60 college units or four years’ experience may apply in lieu of a degree.
• Crisis and case management experience is helpful and desired.
• Engaging parents as partners with a strength-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family support services and referrals.
• Advocate for clients and coordinate linkage and case management.
• Engage clients within appropriate boundaries and develop trust.
• Maintain a flexible community-based schedule and meet documentation standards.
• Participate in treatment teams and collaborate with community agencies.
