Job summary

Children & Families of Iowa seeks a qualified Leader to serve as Parent Partner Program Coordinator. You will guide the Parent Partner Program and mentor partners across Iowa, ensuring high-quality family support through lived experience and community collaboration.

You will work with the Statewide Director, Operations Coordinator, and HHS to recruit, train, and support Parent Partners, while maintaining program compliance and robust data reporting for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; five years of full‑time child welfare or human services experience preferred.
• Associate's degree with four years' experience or a bachelor's with two years' experience preferred.
• Lead or train staff; strong writing and data-entry skills; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Parent Partner Program operations across the service area.
• Recruit, retain, and support a team of Parent Partners.
• Provide monthly one-on-one coaching and referrals to Parent Partners.
• Ensure compliance with referral, documentation, and reporting processes.
• Schedule and facilitate monthly clinical support meetings for the team.
• Coordinate with Statewide Director, Operations Coordinator, and HHS.
• Use standardized tools and handbooks; ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with state agencies and participate in trainings and events.
