Job summary

Vision House in Renton is seeking a Family Program Coordinator to support daily program operations, resident communication, data management, and special events.

Responsibilities include preparing apartments, managing the resident store, coordinating donations, and overseeing volunteer activities. The role emphasizes organization, teamwork, and a welcoming environment for families facing homelessness.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with families at risk or experiencing homelessness.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Experience with administrative support and data entry.
  • CPR and First Aid certification within first three months of hire (preferred).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and pass background checks.
  • Active follower of Jesus Christ and ability to sign the Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly rent calculations, maintain rent spreadsheets, and verify data with case managers.
  • Prepare apartments, welcome baskets, and coordinate with Maintenance for new families.
  • Oversee the resident store, inventory, and data entry into Apricot.
  • Coordinate donations, supplies, and volunteer scheduling through Better Impact.
  • Plan and support resident events, Kids Club, and family activities.
  • Maintain program records, newsletter needs, and staff communications.
  • Ensure compliance with background checks and alliance processes for volunteers.
