VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Administrative.

• Description: VES is seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the country. Current Openings include providers' own office locations—providers must have their own office in Erie, PA, needing 1 day per week. Please read the attached practice description to fully understand the role. Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans. The need is on a PRN basis with ongoing options to work days, 4-hour and/or full 8-hour shifts. Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment is involved. Credentialing and onboarding are quick. Candidates with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine with experience in compensation and pension are accepted. Rates are structured as follows: a flat $800 for half-day (up to 4 hours), $1600 for full day (5 hours or more), with no overtime or holiday rates. A bonus of $650 is offered for completing training and performing initial exams. Local candidates only; travel is included. Follow-up administrative work, addendums, and diagnostics reading are required but not paid outside the day or full-day rate. The client does not reimburse for DMA certifications or portal training prior to start.
