Primary Care Physician - Santa Fe, NM

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. The position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $300,000 per year ($150 per hour) plus full benefits
• 4 weeks PTO and 11 federal holidays paid (total 31 paid days per year)
• CME allowance: $3,000 per year
• Additional 1099 pay option: $180 per hour

Licensing & Qualifications

• Any state license accepted
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds (must be comfortable seeing children)
• No OB required

Schedule & Work Environment

• Typical schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm on most days
• Rotation includes 1 in 6 weekends and 1 in 6 weekdays with long shifts of 11.30 hours
• Average: 1.5 weekend days and 3.5 long shifts per month; physicians can opt for more long shifts

Clinics & Patient Care

• Work primarily at Santa Fe IHC, open daily from 8 am to 7:30 pm
• Rotate to 2-3 other clinics (8 am - 4:30 pm, 30 minutes away)
• Walk-in clinic hours: 11:30 am - 7:30 pm daily (not urgent care)
• Visit durations: 30 minutes for follow-ups, 1 hour for new patients

Certifications & Patient Load

• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS recommended (can be obtained after starting)
• Average patient census: 14 patients per 8-hour shift (range 12-16)
• Average census for 11:30-hour shifts: 20 patients
