Job summary

Southeast Medical Group (SEMG) is seeking a board-certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician to join a leading practice in Georgia. The role focuses on value-based primary care with state-of-the-art facilities, integrated EMR, and on-site labs.

Compensation includes base salary plus uncapped bonus potential, retention bonuses, malpractice coverage, and a comprehensive benefits package. Typical clinic hours are 7:30–5 with after-hours call service and no night shifts.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required with GA license and DEA
• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine is required
• Completion of FP/IM residency is expected
• Excellent communication skills and caring bedside manner
• Ability to excel in a managed care environment and coordinate with health plans

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services in a busy clinic.
• Coordinate preventive care, care management, and education for patients.
• Collaborate with a multispecialty team and support staff.
• Participate in after-hours call service as needed.
• Utilize on-site labs and integrated EMR/ePrescribing.

Work Details

Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) required; current State of Georgia License in good standing.
• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required.
• Current Georgia Medical License required.
• Valid DEA required.
• Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Caring, attentive nature.
• Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plans.
