Job description

Seeking a BE / BC Family Medicine provider to join a supportive team south of Fresno, CA, for outpatient practice, seeing patients of all ages from birth to geriatrics, including in-office procedures and women's health.

About the role :

1. Primary care friendly Athena EMR with training and 1:1 HIT assistance on the first day (Dragon Dictation; templates, smart phrases, Up-to-Date access).
2. Two or more providers at each site.
3. Dedicated bilingual MAs and receptionist, with Language Line support. MAs undergo 3 weeks of boot camp; providers see patients once, with MAs managing the rest.
4. Monday to Friday schedule; 8-hour shifts. Tuesdays and Fridays 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; some centers open until 8 pm, with providers rotating coverage.
5. Telephone call only, 1 week primary and 1 week backup per year, averaging 10-15 calls weekly, accessible via phone anywhere.
6. Each physician has 3 exam rooms.
7. Referral center handles pre-authorization, scheduling, follow-up, and chart notes.
8. E-consults available for specialty referrals; recommendations returned within 48 hours.
9. Structured workflow with 2 hours daily for charting and catch-up, excluding lunch.
10. Standard patient load of 24 per day, but flexible.
11. J1 waiver eligible.

• State-of-the-art facilities with interdisciplinary teams offering comprehensive care including medical, dental, mental health, chiropractic, optometry, X-ray, and lab services.
• On-site pharmacies and ultrasounds at larger centers.
• Seven urgent care locations.
• In-house specialists: OBGYN, Sports Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Gastroenterology, Pediatrics.
• Partnerships with specialists in Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology.
• 30 clinics in Fresno and surrounding areas, with the furthest about an hour away.
• Growing organization: 4 new sites in 2022, 3 in 2023, and 3 in 2024, with plans for more.
• Family Medicine residency and PA programs; collaborations with Fresno State and Fresno Pacific Universities for FNP students; rotations with D.O. students.
• Free transportation for patients for appointments and medication pickups.
• High-quality scores and a diverse patient population, including underserved, insured, and self-pay patients.

Compensation & Benefits :

• Base salary of $270K, with bonuses for seeing more than 20 patients daily ($2,000/month for 24+ patients).
• Additional pay for call duties.
• Loan repayment options available and successful qualifying providers.
