Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Star, Idaho is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics to join our growing practice. You will provide comprehensive family medicine, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

This position offers on-site laboratory and imaging, required OB call coverage at Saint Alphonsus Nampa Medical Center, and a commitment to continuity of care across all life

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of an ACGME/AOA Family Medicine Residency.
• Board certified or obtain certification within 3 years of employment.
• Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at Saint Alphonsus Nampa Medical Center.
• Qualified to obtaining OB privileges and provide prenatal, delivery and postpartum care.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy, DEA. PALS and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, delivery and postpartum care.
• Manage full-spectrum family medicine with obstetrics in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in OB call coverage and deliveries at Saint Alphonsus Nampa Medical Center.
• Coordinate care across life stages with on-site lab and imaging resources.

Job description

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FP/OB) to join our growing practice in Star, Idaho. This opportunity is ideal for a physician committed to providing comprehensive family medicine, prenatal care, labor and delivery services, and postpartum care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

The provider will join an established practice currently consisting of three Family Medicine physicians and a seven-day-a-week urgent care. The clinic also offers on-site laboratory and imaging services and is designed to support continued growth in one of Idaho's fastest-growing communities. The practice maintains a strong relationship with Saint Alphonsus Nampa Medical Center, where deliveries will occur and where the physician will participate in required OB call coverage.

This position offers the unique opportunity to build a full-spectrum family medicine practice while helping address the growing need for obstetrical providers in the Treasure Valley. The ideal candidate will value continuity of care and enjoy caring for patients across all stages of life, including pregnancy, delivery, postpartum care, and ongoing primary care.

Schedule

Traditional clinic work week, M-F, no less than 32 hours of scheduled patient contact time. Thursdays off. Required OB hospital call.
